Morning Mocha Smoothie

A wonderful start to the day...

Morning Mocha Smoothie

1 cup chilled Americano (I use decaf)
4 tablespoons almond-cashew milk
1 scoop whey protein powder
1 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder
1 frozen banana
1 cup ice

1. Blend until smooth.
2. Divide between two glasses.

Calories: 100 calories per serving. 2 servings.

Note: I adapted this recipe for my taste and to ensure there is no dairy and substituted decaf Americano for the coffee. This recipe was from the recent publication, Women's Health, Prevention Guide, December 6, 2016. Hope you enjoy.
