A is for Assemble.

When I make a collage I assemble bits and pieces from different sources: found papers, scraps of fabric, a twig, a book of matches, newspaper, splatters of paint, batiked paper and set these things that had no business being together inside that which becomes a composition. Assembling is an art. The spaces between allow me to consider connections that I did not seem to know prior.
Such exercises release the imagination.
