Artist, Raúl Colón, is a favorite illustrator. You may be familiar with his children's work or you may have seen a cover he illustrated for the New Yorker or saw his MTA mural at the 191st Street Subway Station in New York. His illustrations have earned numerous awards including multiple Pura Belpre Awards and The Tomas Rivera Mexican American Children's Award (twice).
