On Wednesday night Gary Anderson tweeted a haiku that just captivated me. He wrote:
The smell of lilacs
through the kitchen window now
long after nightfall
With the poem as inspiration, I made the following image, embedding Gary's words.

Mary Ann -- Thank you for this beautiful image! What a cool, serendipitous collaboration! I couldn't leave well enough along and wrote a blog post about my perspective on what transpired with this: http://whatsnotwrong.wordpress.com/2011/06/03/lilacs-and-twitterart/
ReplyDeleteMary Ann,
ReplyDeleteYou and Gary make a wonderful, collaborative team. Your art transports us all beyond the boundaries that constrain and enclose us to some other more spiritual place. Thank you.
Gary, the pleasure was mine. Enjoyed your post:)
ReplyDeleteThanks Glenda. When I said the poem aloud, I knew I wanted to make an image.
