Exploring the intersections between art and learning
Hi Maryanne! I, too, wrote some winter haiku today. I love your haiku and think the photo is beautiful.
I read you series of haikus, Barbara. Lovely.
When I wished for no more snow a week ago, I didn't will it to hammer the east coast and threaten my travel plans.
Oh, so this 2 feet of snow outside is your fault? LOL!
Lovely! I like the image of the riotous call of birds forecasting the snow. Also, beautiful photo!
Thank you so much.
Good luck !
It was a good storm. I think it may have started up again.
Spring is coming....Bonnie
Yes it is. We just need to repeat that. Often.
Both beautiful, Mary Ann. Birds tell us a lot if we listen.
I agree. Five years ago I wrote about the sounds of birds beyond the window one May morning. Your comment reminded me of it. Here's a link if you have time. http://maryannreilly.blogspot.com/2012/05/barefoot-knowledge-and-few-birds.html
It's sleeting now - I hope those birds are sheltering. Stay safe, Mary Ann.
They were in the bushes and trees on our lawn earlier today.
Bingo! May I capture your poem and photo for my winter gallery. The combination is beautiful. Great Weather Report!
